I get offered the job at Girl Scout camp this summer that I wanted. I've volunteered at Orphan Acres a few times now, and I've realized while I am not afraid of horses I do occasionally get worried if they are acting up around me. Fortunately I have realized that the horses at camp are better behaved than the ones I get worried around, there will be someone higher up than me to deal with problems, and someone has to do it XD That last one is really because I like odd numbers so 3 reasons is better than two. I think my feelings of uncertainty about wanting the job came from a fear of rejection. It had been a while since I had heard from the camp director so I was afraid she had found someone else. Fortunately she didn't! I got the email and immediately was super excited. I get to work at Girl Scout camp all summer with horses and young girls as well as former people I camped with. I am looking forward to seeing what this summer brings.
Awesome things that happened today: Waking up on time, not falling asleep in biology, understanding calculus (mostly), hanging out with Amanda and Molly, So pandas!, rice crispie treats, hanging out with Molly and Katie, finishing Even Now, walking home in the dark, talking to God, hearing back about Girl Scout camp! Getting the job! Verity, Meleah, listening to Mat Kearney and Howie Day in preparation for the concert tomorrow with Molly! starting Ever After.
