That's what you get when you play a Country Song backwards

Oh Rascal Flatts, how I love you!
Put more correctly, oh music how I love you!
Yeah, music=Love. I totally named one of my old iPods "Music My Anti-Drug" back when anti-drug type things were cool. Yep, music saves my life all the time. It's how I relax, one way I meet people, how I take out emotions, it can teach me things, and just something that keeps me sane.
I love almost all types of music. I LOVE dancing! I want to learn how to dance better. That's going on a goal list when I make a new one.
One thing I hate is how people obsess over a band/song/artist for a few weeks/months then throw them out and say, "I remember when I loved this song" when they hear it a year or so later. What has changed in the song? Nothing! Just your view of the song. I like to think I'm different. I do tend to obsess over some songs/bands for a while and then stop listening to them. The main difference is I'll either eventually go back to the band or I will hear one of their songs and say/think how much I love it. There are a couple exceptions like an artist I listened to a ton during a difficult time in my life who I don't listen to much anymore because it brings back painful memories, or a band I listened to too much and now don't think they are very good. I can find good in most music. Most artists have good voices (even if they are all auto tuned), most songs have repetitive, catchy parts that I like and many lyrics are good.
Ask me my favorite genre and I'll say anything but Opera or classical. Really, I like classical music more than most of today's youth but it still is not among my favorite music most of the time. As for a favorite artist when asked I'll usually say Five for Fighting (John Ondrasik) because he has tons of amazing songs that I always love listening to. As for a favorite band I'll probably answer something different every time, probably whoever I'm "obsessively listening to" that day/week. Today I don't have an answer, it was a music ADD day. Lots of country though. I will usually say my favorite song is 100 Years or Chances or something by Five for Fighting just because he is my all-time/overall favorite artist.
Currently some music I love listening to I affectionately call Jesus Tunes (shout out to Molly who I took this term form)! Worship music is awesome! It's great when I sing it at church or CRU and it's fantastic to listen to between classes to boost my mood. Even doing homework, or blogging it's perfect!

A*Teens were my absolute fave when I was 13. I wore that CD out on my walkman! "You are the dancing queen, young and sweet only seventeen"

Haha I love that song. It is one of the few remakes that I like better than the original (shame on me I know). Another is Paint it Black originally by The Rolling Stones but I prefer the Vanessa Carlton version.
